Demi Lune Console Table

April 8, 2010

We made this table using Bird’s Eye Maple veneer with Rosewood feet and detailing to complement our client’s Art Deco period house.

This semi-circular table has a single drawer, which has a curved front and handcut dovetails.  Bird’s Eye Maple is a very hard wood with a very decorative grain structure created by the birdseyes.

Bird’s Eye Maple features in another of our table designs here.  Have a close look at our MWL desk – it’s asymmetric design allows more space for a personal computer.

Our client wanted kitchen and bathroom furniture to complement the timber frame of his country cottage. We made freestanding kitchen cabinets, shelf brackets and a stand for the sink.

Apartment Bedroom

Country House master bedroom

Country House master bedroom

Our client moved into his new apartment in a renovated Regency country house and commissioned us to make wardrobes and bedside cupboards for the master bedroom.  These wardrobes had to match the proportions of the room with its high ceiling and architectural detail.  Our client chose sycamore and bird’s eye maple to maintain the light airy atmosphere in this room.  The wardrobes contain short and long hanging, shelves and pull-out shoe racks.
